Cottage Tour
Our historic wood cottage was built in 1939 after the great New England Hurricane of 1938. Our grandparents purchased it in 1948 and Bevi and Jacqui are now the 3rd generation owners. It is used by all Chagnon descendents, including our newest 6th generation little ones.
We've renovated the cottage over the years, adding a full indoor bathroom, modern cook's kitchen, and beach-level deck while retaining the classic pinewood interior walls and cottage ambiance.
The large living-dining-kitchen area is bright, airy and open, and provides lots of room for activities, cooling summer breezes, and gorgeous views of the Long Island Sound and the East-River/Neck River marshes and wildlife area.
